We are excited to announce ALIEN NATION, a new exhibition by Sydney-based, American artist Gregory Uzelac(@greguzelac). Uzelac's formal sculptural debut, this collection of works is a collection of "artefacts," which tell the tale of the Wydeshis, alien refugees who escape their dying world for the land of Merica, Uzelac's mythic amalgam of the West. Both metanarrative and deeply personal, Uzelac invites us into a time capsule of resilience, ingenuity, xenophobia, and renewal as we see the humanity that we share with those who, we are too often told, are otherworldly. This exhibition is a collaboration with long-time friend Darlings Gallery(@darlings.gallery)and celebrates the birthday of the artist.
