Opening on April 5th in PS2 is “All My Friends and Everyone in My Life (Who I Love)” by Camille Chapman:
Camille Chapman is a Melbourne/Naarm based non-binary artist with a film and painting practice. Graduating from Swinburne University of Technology with a Bachelors of Film and Television (Honours) in 2021, Camille has since turn their focus towards abstract painting, approaching the medium in a diaristic and unconventional manner. This shift is reflected in ‘All my friends and everyone in my life (who I love)’, Camille’s debut solo exhibition. Created with an immediacy and deriving materials of one’s own possessions, the work is born from personal frustrations of the arduous production processes and limitations of traditional film-making. Camille has exhibited nationally and internationally, most recently in 2023 at Milk Gallery in Melbourne/Naarm.
