‘As of late’ showcases three emerging Australian artists whose respective practices traverse distinct combinations of philosophy, medium, and physicality. As recent graduates of the National Art School, these artists are in the process of pushing beyond foundational methodologies and conformities of their medium. In developing their own visual vernacular, we are invited to explore alongside the artists and dip into themes of ritual, materiality, manifestations of the natural world, and the imaginative power of art in its many forms. As recipients of the Australian Galleries Exhibition Award, we are pleased to be exhibiting the work of Scott Elk, Courtney McClelland, and Beatrice Weidner.
