Platform Arts is excited to welcome Bula’Bula Arts to Wadawurrung Country this coming November to December. Barrku wanga (going to a faraway place) presents new works by Yolngu artists living in East Arnhem Land. The incredible works of ten Bula’bula artists will be travelling down from Ramingining, bringing dynamic painting and weaving works that tell the stories of cultural lore learned through song and dance. This storytelling is reinterpreted into paintings and objects that have traditional ritual and ceremonial significance.
