I explore how shopping became therapy during a time of personal struggle. Every new purchase gave me a brief escape—a fleeting moment of excitement that distracted me from the emotional weight I was carrying. Over time I found myself priorotising luxury items over basic necessities, convincing myself that they were acts of self-care. Ultimately, “Broqué” isn’t about handbags—it’s about finding humor, healing, and real connection beyond the stuff we own. Because sometimes, art is the best kind of therapy as I have come to realise - If i paint it, i won't buy it!
