An exhibition, for one night only: May 8th 5pm - 9pm Level 1, 115-119 Regent St, Chippendale NSW 2008 Live music at 6.30pm: @perfectbandaid ‘flesh galaxies’ features four cutting edge Sydney based Contemporary Artists working within mixed mediums to dismantle and reconstruct the concept of the moment between ambivalence and certainty. This exhibition takes a look at contemporary culture and society’s passivity and consumption vs social injustice and then ruptures it: through a fractured and magical lense of paint and fabric to present abstracted moments with clear glimpses into a passionate, cluttered and prosaic reality sharpened by otherworldly dreams and fragmented realities - that bleed into crystal clear ambition, passion and purpose. @perfectbandaid is a new musical project created by Andy Chase, a Sydney based Musician and Actor. It bends and explodes the genres of art school/dance/punk and rap. Using circuit tracks and vocal effects Perfect Bandaid bleeds alienesque sounds with visceral melodies and screams.
