Curatorial+Co. is thrilled to present a new body of work by Queensland-based artist, Mitchell Cheesman. Self-taught, Mitchell’s process is intrinsic and emotional. He draws inspiration from a wide range of contemporary and historical practices, from poetry, music and film. His latest solo exhibition, 'From My Chair', is an intimate documentation of his environment on the Sunshine Coast, his studio and how this informs his art practice. Poetry is a significant source of inspiration for Mitchell's practice. Join us for a poetry reading with Mitchell on Wednesday 17 July from 5-6pm, followed by the opening celebration from 6-8pm.
