CASSANDRA BIRD is delighted to announce our first solo exhibition by internationally acclaimed Danish, Berlin-based artist Jeppe Hein. Hein is widely known for his experiential and interactive artworks that can be positioned at the junction where art, architecture, and technical inventions intersect. Unique in their formal simplicity and notable for their frequent use of humour, his sculptures and installations engage in a lively dialogue with the traditions of minimalist sculpture and Conceptual art of the 1970s. Hein’s artworks often feature surprising and captivating elements that promote positive interaction and a sense of playful engagement. Join us for the opening reception Friday August 30 6-8 pm.
