The annual festival will feature over 142 artists across 18 events from 19-29 October at Carriageworks Sydney, Australia: Liveworks, the pinnacle event for Performance Space, Australia’s leading organisation for the development and presentation of experimental art in Australasia will bring six new commissioned works to its festival next month from 19-29 October at Carriageworks. Audiences can expect to experience the bright future of performance art with highlight events that champion bold ideas from artists Rainbow Chan 陳雋然, Brooke Stamp, Rosanna Raymond, Latai Taumoepeau and an ensemble of PSpace alumni including artists Andrea Aloise, Kathy Cogill, Regina Heilmann, Nikki Heywood, Nigel Kellaway and Katia Molino. Elvis Richardson and Heidrun Löhr will create large-scale installations in the Carriageworks public space that celebrate four decades of Performance Space through an exploration of material drawn from the archive.
