Artist: Bob Gibson Tjungurrayi b.1974, Ngaanyatjarra The son of renowned artist Mary Gibson, Ngaanyatjarra artist, Bob Gibson Tjungurrayi paints with a colourful and joyful intensity. Interpreting his father’s Country (Pintupi) and his mother’s Country (Ngaanyatjarra), Gibson Tjungurrayi expresses his experiences of these Countries via bold brush strokes and vivid colour palettes - choices that are informed by a profound and continuing connection to Culture.
