'Red Reflections' is an exhibition of new paintings and sculptures by Jale Soysal.

This exhibition will run from Nov 24th - Dec 13th and will coincide with Jana Brike's Children Of The Sun, Luke Chueh's 'It Is What It Is', Jeff Gillette's Disillusioned, and Larysa Bernhardt's 'Sublimations'.
In 'Red Reflections', Soysal's prevailing theme of harmony in contrasts reflects her feelings of cultural dissonance regarding her Australian and Turkish roots. Exploring these complex themes, the collection present as equal parts beautiful and melancholic.
'Red Reflections' is dedicated to Soysal's father, Cemal Soysal, who passed away in the middle of this year, during the preparation of these works. He was the primary supporter of her artistic ambitions.
Jale Soysal is a Melbourne based, Australian/Turkish artist. She studied at Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School before obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Animation at RMIT University. Her works are an amalgamation of her interests in nature, surrealism, and beauty. The use of blood is a throughline in her work, reflecting her passion for balancing boldness with elegance
