Symbiosis is a new collaboration by photographer Maki LeVine and painter Samantha Sederof. A series of new works by both artists, this exhibition pairs artworks that call attention to the often overlooked symbiotic relationship between humanity and the natural environment. LeVine and Sederof portray the fragile imbalance between humans and nature through their respective mediums, capturing the beauty and delicacy of shared forms and expressions. Maki and Sam met while training as Art Therapists. Their practices are influenced by their ongoing involvement in the field and an ever expanding exploration of art and creativity as a tool to tap into personal reflection, connect with others and find joy. An opening event will be held on the evening of Friday 16 February 2024.
