Briana Hertzog’s 'Feral Garden' is an untamed wilderness where flowers consume flowers and prey consumes predator. This collection of narrative based paintings express the unyielding instincts of nature and stories of satisfying revenge.
Currently living in a rural area of Virginia, U.S., Briana is surrounded by nature where her ever present love of the natural world flourishes. This love of nature, accompanied by the human experience, plays a significant role in her inspiration. Her unique subjects have evolved and taken shape over the course of her artistic career into distinct and recognizable characters.
After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Communication Arts, Briana has worked as an illustrator and fine artist. Her knowledge of illustration strongly influences her fine art style and is often incorporated with graphical elements. Her unique pieces are currently shown in local and international galleries.
