Making Beds offers glimpses into the highly personal yet absurdly public spaces of English historic house museums. These grand, intimate and staged domestic scenes provoke questions about who and how we remember. Hine was a 2022 recipient of the Brett Whiteley Travelling Art Scholarship Kangaroo Valley residency, as well as a finalist in the 2023 Wynne Prize at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney.
