This series is informed by Natalie Papak’s coastal Croatian heritage, her travels, and narratives of the sea. Formed in clay, these sentient alien hybrids evoke sensations of aquatic longing. The viewer is invited into a call and response with discussions around rising water levels, inter-continental migration, mysteries of lost and submerged worlds and ancient civilisations.
