STATION is delighted to present Jake Walker’s sixth solo exhibition with the gallery, 'Pottery UFC'. Continuing Walker’s ode to his father’s architecture, this latest body of work questions notions of domesticity and suburbia, alluding to the beauty of the quotidian yet also fighting the fight against convention. Walker’s handmade assemblages are essentially abstract while retaining an overall tactility and the hand of the artist through inscriptions and raw materials that oppose concepts of mass-production.
