Tomorrow … The Future is an exhibition by artists from “all points of the Southern Sky” as eloquently described in the Uluru Statement from the Heart (2017), who work to capture the Zeitgeist or spirit of the age. The artworks embrace a constellation of meanings on the coming Referendum on a First Nations Voice to Australian Parliament. Tomorrow … The Future is also an exhibition on the historical background of the political moment: the ongoing struggle since British colonial invasion by First Nations people for recognition and representation, a process named as Voice, Treaty, Truth.
